If you thought it was a thing of the past, you couldn’t be more wrong, with several buffets making names for themselves all around Perth.
The Conservatory Buffet at Crown Casino The Conservatory at Melbourne’s Crown Casino offers the kind of buffet meal that can only be reserved for a special occasion. Well, for us folks who don’t bathe in their own fortunes, that is. Choices on the buffet here were endless - with all sorts of food including curries, chicken dishes, roasts, vegetables, noodles, pies, rice, fish and more. I chose the pork first as this looked very tender and had some amazing looking crackle with it! But of course, I did not stop there. Atrium won prizes at both the 2013 and 2014 Gold Plate Awards for ’best buffet dining’ and ’excellence in health’ and was also named as one of top 5 breakfasts in Perth in the 2015 Good Food Guide. So there is obviously a lot in its favour, and if you are the sort that has a massive appetite, then buffets can be really good value.
